It’s that time of year again when the library transforms into a bustling hub of creativity, innovation, and fun—the 5th Annual Folsom Public Library LEGO® Building Contest is here! This event is a cornerstone of our community, bringing together builders of all ages to compete, display their talent, and share their love for LEGO®
Starting Tuesday, February 20th through Saturday, February 24th, we invite you to bring your original LEGO® creations to the Folsom Public Library for a chance to win exciting prizes and the admiration of your fellow LEGO® enthusiasts. This contest is open to individuals and teams across five age categories, ensuring that everyone from the youngest builders to seasoned veterans has a chance to shine.
The creativity displayed in previous years has been nothing short of astounding, with entries ranging from intricate architectural replicas to imaginative scenes from other worlds. This year, we can't wait to see what you'll bring to the table. Will you captivate us with a daring design, a whimsical wonder, or something entirely unexpected?
On the day of judging, February 24th, the library will be alive with the spirit of competition and camaraderie. But the fun doesn’t stop there! From 2-4 p.m., the public is invited to view the entries and cast their votes for the Crowd Favorite. It's a wonderful way to connect with fellow LEGO® fans and find inspiration in the creativity of others.
With prizes for the top entries in each category—including a $25.00 gift card for our 1st Place winners and special recognition for our Crowd Favorites—there’s every reason to put your best brick forward.
