Calling all caretakers of candy-fueled creatures: Monster Mash Midway hits Fair Oaks Village on Oct 30, 2025, 2–5pm, and it’s custom built for little monsters of all ages. The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District brings the fun; you bring the costumes and camera. Bonus: It runs with Rotary’s Safer Halloween, so trick-or-treating is conveniently woven into the afternoon.


Game plan (minimal chaos, maximum smiles):

  1. Snack first. Quick fuel = fewer meltdowns when the line for a favorite game snakes.
  2. Set a meet point. The Plaza gets lively—pick a pumpkin or lamppost as “base.”
  3. Comfortable costumes. Nothing ruins a witch’s vibe like a scratchy hat—test drive outfits at home.
  4. Rotate activities. Alternate games → entertainment → candy → photo ops to keep energy balanced.
